Septic Sitter

Wendy was a consultant hired by ACOA and the Maritime provincial governments to set up business development meetings for a trade mission I participated in to the Tri-state area in June 2016. I was one of several Maritime companies participating in the mission covering a wide range of industries and sectors from traditional craft, and agriculture based businesses to tech start-ups. Wendy got up to speed very quickly on my sector (tech for the septic system industry) and set up several high quality meetings. She also took care of a multitude of details that ensured everything went off without a hitch from our base in NYC. Her ability to relate to prospects and engage them on the phone were clear to me and many of the other trade mission participants as we would often hear "Where is Wendy?" when arriving at meetings. Wendy's dedication and sincere desire to see businesses succeed, especially early stage start-ups, were readily apparent. For example, she tried diligently to make contact with a senior executive at one very large company. Unfortunately, due to the short timeline, she was not able to connect me before the mission (and her contract) was over. Several weeks later however, the executive called her back and her follow-up resulted in me getting a meeting to pitch my product to this company a month later! I am planning to hire Wendy under a new contract to help me with my market validation and export plans for the US market. I would not hesitate recommending her to any business owner needing a resourceful, knowledgeable and well-connected professional to help them expand their business, especially the northeast US.
